Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2, 2026

1. Introduction

Clavis ("we," "our," or "us") operates the website at www.tryclavis.com and the Clavis platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture through Google OAuth. We do not store your Google password.

Workspace Data

Data you create within Clavis — including but not limited to ICP profiles, offers, scripts, swipe files, ad copy, funnel metrics, and other workspace content — is stored securely in your workspace and is only accessible by workspace members.

Third-Party Integrations

When you connect third-party services (e.g., Google Calendar), we store OAuth tokens necessary to access those services on your behalf. We only request the minimum permissions required. You can disconnect integrations at any time from your Settings page.

Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you use the Service, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, and pages visited. This helps us improve the platform and diagnose technical issues.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • To authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • To facilitate third-party integrations you authorize
  • To send administrative communications (e.g., security alerts, service updates)
  • To respond to support requests
  • To detect and prevent fraud or abuse

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Service providers that help us operate the platform (e.g., Supabase for database hosting, Vercel for application hosting)
  • Third-party integrations you explicitly connect (e.g., Google Calendar)
  • Law enforcement if required by law or to protect our rights

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), row-level security policies on all database tables, and secure token storage for third-party integrations. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and workspace data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and data
  • Disconnect third-party integrations at any time
  • Export your workspace data

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
